Ambev is the largest beer producer in Latin America by volume and the fourth largest beer producer in the world. It manufactures, distributes and markets beer and PepsiCo products in Brazil and other Latin American countries. He also owns the largest brewery in Argentina, Quinsa. Ambev was formed in 1999 through the merger of two Brazilian beverage producers, Brahma and Antarctica. In 2004, Ambev merged with the Canadian brewery Labatt, transferring a majority stake to Interbrew (now Anheuser-Busch InBev).
